In 2020, Karen created Caregiver Corner, a reader-generated newspaper column published in Central, Florida by D-R Media. This was an opportunity for readers to ask questions about caregiving, memory loss and senior living. In January 2026, she resigned her position as columnist and her current focus is planting Caregiver Support Groups in area churches.
Her Caregiver Corner column is presently printed in the Well Being Magazine in Lake County, Florida.
